The oldest house in Bas Armagnac, the Dartigalongue family began to distill in 1813. In 1838, Pascal Dartigalongue founded the first Maison d'Armagnac in Nogaro, the heart of the Bas Armagnac region. In 1870 son Joseph acquired a large vineyard in Salles d'Armagnac near Nogaro.

The Dartigalongue Vintage 1934 90-Year-Old Bas Armagnac is an exceptional expression of aged Armagnac, reflecting nearly a century of careful maturation. This rare vintage offers a deep, complex profile shaped by decades in oak barrels and glass demijohns, allowing the spirit to preserve its full richness while slowing its natural evaporation. On the nose, expect a nuanced bouquet of dried fruits, toasted oak, and a hint of vanilla, evoking a sense of warmth and elegance. The palate reveals layers of rich, smooth textures, with notes of candied fruit, delicate spices, and a subtle nuttiness, showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship of Dartigalongue.

With such age, the armagnac retains remarkable balance, offering a long, refined finish with a whisper of caramel and spice. The rarity of this vintage makes it a true collector's gem, ideal for savoring on its own or paired with refined desserts like crème brûlée or dark chocolate.
