The oldest house in Bas Armagnac, the Dartigalongue family began to distill in 1813. In 1838, Pascal Dartigalongue founded the first Maison d'Armagnac in Nogaro, the heart of the Bas Armagnac region. In 1870 son Joseph acquired a large vineyard in Salles d'Armagnac near Nogaro.
The Dartigalongue Vintage 1943 Bas Armagnac, an 80-year-old expression from the renowned Dartigalongue house, is a rare spirit showcasing the richness of aged Armagnac. This 1943 vintage is a well-preserved legacy, offering a unique profile developed through decades of aging in Gascon oak barrels.
Expect a profound, aromatic profile with rich, layered notes of dried fruit, toasted oak, dark spices, and leather, creating a complex, mature experience.
