For this limited edition, Royal Salute has drawn inspiration from the enchanting landscapes of Italy, a kingdom revered for its natural beauty and iconic architecture. As a breath-taking land rich with flora & fauna, we pay tribute to this mighty kingdom by fully finishing our exceptional 26 -year-old blended scotch whisky in Amarone della valpolicella wine casks for the very first time.
Produced in Italy's north-eastern region of Veneto, Amarone wine is renowned for its luxurious character which brings a rich decadence to the sweetness of the royal salute blend. Master blender Sandy Hyslop has expertly balanced tasting notes of vibrant summer fruits. Dark chocolate and clove-ginger spice resulting in a truly unique and profound indulgent flavour."
