Tasting notes: A dark amber color with mahogany highlights, this bourbon has complex aromas of caramel, toasted oak, and vanilla, with flavors of molasses, spiced apple, and toasted nuts. The finish is long and warming, with notes of oak, vanilla, and gentle spices.
The 2024 release is the seventh edition of the King of Kentucky bourbon, which was originally established in 1881 and acquired by Brown-Forman in 1936. The bourbon was discontinued in 1968, but was reintroduced in 2018. Each annual edition pays homage to the brand's legacy.
