    PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Caffo Vecchio Amaro del Capo: like getting a warm herbal hug from your eccentric Italian uncle who insists it’ll fix everything—including your love life. 🇮🇹

    35% ABV, 750 ml

Best in Show Amaro 2024 TAG Awards

94 Points "The wonderfully intense bitter flavors are exceptionally balanced — beautiful.
Bright, medium orange color. The aromatics are very intense, offering aromas of gingerbread, oak, and baking spices with supporting notes of chalk, eucalyptus, and orange peel. The palate is more intense than the nose delivering a dried fruits-driven core with supporting flavors of mint, forest floor, candied ginger, and black tea. The finish is long and lingering. Medium-bodied and favorably balanced with a silky texture."

Twenty-nine herbs, flowers, fruits and roots from the wonderful land of Calabria all in one unique, inimitable, secret recipe. To be enjoyed exclusively icy cold at -20°C (-4°F).

Vecchio Amaro del Capo is the flagship of the Fratelli Caffo distillery.  Distilled from sugar beets, then macerated with 29 herbs, spices, roots, fruits, and flowers from Southern Italy. This digestivo italiano is complex on the palate, revealing bittersweet flavors of orange, chamomile, licorice, and juniper. Enjoy cold, at room temperature, or in cocktails, and see how the drink’s expressions change and develop as the temperature changes. It’s herbal aromatics begin to give way to warm fruity flavors and great acidity to balance.
