This whisky comes from Glen Ord Distillery, located on Scotland’s Black Isle in the Highlands, a historic distillery founded in 1838 and known for producing the Singleton range of single malts.

The 2024 Special Release, often titled “Autumn Walk,” forms part of Diageo’s highly anticipated annual limited collection showcasing distinctive cask experiments and higher-strength bottlings.

This expression was aged for 14 years using a layered maturation approach. The whisky matured initially in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, developing classic orchard-fruit sweetness and vanilla notes. Portions of the whisky were then matured in rejuvenated wine casks and refill casks, adding texture and depth before the final marrying stage.
