PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Teitessa 20 Year Old Single Grain Japanese Whisky “Yellow Edition” is an elegant, long-aged Japanese grain whisky that showcases refinement, balance, and delicate complexity. Matured for two decades and finished in a trio of oak casks, it offers silky texture, floral aromatics, and layered notes of vanilla, chocolate, and subtle spice. The Yellow Edition is crafted to highlight the graceful side of Japanese whisky—polished, nuanced, and exceptionally smooth.
Origins & Craftsmanship
Teitessa whisky is produced in Japan using carefully selected grains and pristine local water sources, reflecting the meticulous attention to detail that defines Japanese whisky making. The 20-Year Yellow Edition is a single grain whisky aged for two decades, allowing the spirit to develop depth while retaining the delicate elegance typical of the style.
A key aspect of its maturation is the triple-oak aging program, which utilizes Spanish oak, French Limousin oak, and American white oak barrels. Each wood type contributes a different dimension—Spanish oak providing richness, Limousin oak adding subtle spice and structure, and American oak imparting vanilla sweetness and smoothness.
Bottled at approximately 40% ABV, the whisky is designed to emphasize balance and elegance rather than power. The extended aging and careful blending result in a spirit that is refined and harmonious, reflecting the precision and artistry associated with premium Japanese whisky.
