Crafted by The Macallan in Speyside, this limited-edition single malt was distilled in 2007—a deliberate nod to Agent 007—and matured for 18 years before release.
The whisky is built on a complex cask program combining sherry-seasoned European and American oak with the notable addition of red wine–seasoned American oak casks, marking a rare stylistic departure for the distillery. This dual-cask approach reflects both Macallan’s sherry heritage and the film’s storyline, where Bond’s wine expertise plays a key role.
Bottled at 45.5% ABV, the whisky is presented in natural color and showcases the layered complexity achieved through bespoke hybrid casks crafted from both European and American oak staves.
