Origins & Craftsmanship
The Mascot is produced by Harlan Estate under the direction of Will Harlan, drawing fruit from the younger vines of three of Napa Valley’s most prestigious properties: Harlan Estate, BOND, and Promontory.

Originally an internal project shared among the family and team, the wine evolved into a standalone label beginning with the 2008 vintage.

The 2021 vintage reflects hillside vineyard sites across Napa Valley, where fractured bedrock soils and optimal exposure produce wines of concentration and structure. The blend is Cabernet Sauvignon–dominant, with supporting Bordeaux varietals, crafted in a style that emphasizes both approachability in youth and long-term aging potential.

The wine is typically aged in French oak and released after extended élevage, giving it a level of polish uncommon at this tier.
